    I think I definitely need to look at the extra capacity for fuel and what type of containers to use before I even load the wifes 200kg max luggage allowance for my bike ( that's what shes told me she needs to carry lol).

    Another top tip perhaps?

    When I go on longer haul trips I take older clothing that can be simply ditched after wearing. Anything I may run short of can always be bought if the need arises.
