New member - looking to learn

Hi All, new to this, ridden bikes in the past and returning with a new 2018 FXLR Lowrider - to date the bike has been great fun.
Want to learn, understand what I can do in the way of customizing the bike. Have some ideas and am hoping there are people in the forum who can help.

Welcome to the forum Chris, from Calderdale in West Yorkshire.

Lovely Low Rider you have there, there are big twin owners on the forum who'll be able to advise you about custom parts.

I'm better with Sportster models myself.

Welcome Chrisr from not too far away. I do like red Harleys. Customisation depends purely on intent and depth of pockets and can cost a few pounds to many thousands. I am just spending out between £4-£5k dependent on how it fairs on parts, paint and manufacture of seat for my own big twin cam.

Good investigative searching and careful planning can save you a great deal of money if you have the tools and the technical acumen to do your own work fitting and/or swapping out parts, or indeed, if you know someone that is willing to assist?

Hiya Chris and welcome I’ve been looking at the low rider myself they look a really nice bike, I think what would really set it off is some nice Vance and Hines big radius chrome exhausts

I test rode the street bob first, impressive, but the lowrider was more my style. Surprisingly responsive and (I think) has great handling
Was out with my bro who has an MT09 and he was suitably impressed with the way it went round corners. I’d definitely recommend
