Chinese knocking off H-D leather jacket designs, what next?

While I was browsing the Chinese bases Aliexpress website I spotted a couple of leather jackets that looked familiar, but they weren't. They were Chinese knock off'S of genuine H-D designs, but the name on them is unfamiliar. Spot the difference, it's not very difficult.

I haven't a clue who Hualei - Horsemen are, but Harley - Davidson should sue them for blatant plagiarism.

These knock off jackets aren't exactly cheap at £307.36 each.

The sooner these rip-off jackets are taken off the market the better.

This fleece which is for sale on eBay is also a knock off.

Poor quality embroidery and "Classic motorcycles since 1905" are dead givaway's, as we all know H-D was founded in 1903, and they won't get that wrong.

Yet 'official' Harley Davidson clothing is also made in China, like my Tyson boots.

I have two genuine H-D leather jackets and a Screamin' Eagle textile jacket, they were all made in China.

H-D also have official clothing manufacturing facilities in Mexico and Indonesia, I used to have an Indonesian made leather jacket, it was smaller than the Chinese made jackets, so I gave it to a mate who is slimmer than me.

Knock off H-D jackets are also being made in Pakistan. The images below are of a Pakistani knock off's which was sold yesterday on eBay. It was a used one and the unsuspecting buyer paid £128.67 for it. How do I know this is a Pakistani knock off?, I was foolish enough to buy one on eBay five years ago for £70, it was sold as a large, turned out it was medium, I passed that one onto a friend too.

Give away's are the label say's "Harley-Davidson Leather Division", there is a label inside saying "Export Quality Cow Leather" and the embroidery is of very poor quality.
There is no "Harley-Davidson Leather Division", all genuine H-D leather is top quality steer hide, they don't use Export Quality labels, All genuine H-D embroidery is top quality.

See the images of the Pakistani knock off jacket below.

If you intend buying a genuine H-D leather jacket on eBay, look for this label.

If you pocket can stretch to it, buy from an authorised H-D dealership, that way you'll know you've got the real deal.

I’m not a fan of leather, it isn’t very versatile and is easy to make a fake. I’ve bought some casual gear from the Bull-It range that’s lined with Covec, it’s meant to be stronger than leather and is almost imposible to counterfeit. A lot cheaper, too.
