    Last two helmets I bought contained the optional stickers in the box. If not they are available for £2:99 from Amazon. Have stuck mine on for the impending transit through France.

    For the sake of £2:99 that's an approximate saving of £115 against a fine and any ambiguity not to mention the inconvenience of getting a pull by the Gendarmerie and giving them the reason to go over the rest of your kit with a fine tooth comb perhaps? Small change!

    It's not the cost that's the issue but the look of 4 stickers on an all black helmet. Happier now I can see they do them in black.

    bought my helmet stickers on the ferry for my last trip, at ferry cost!!

    also, one of the other bikers gave me some bulbs to pass off as spares

    no sat nav with speed cameras location built in

    headphones only if the ear pieces are permanent (certainly in spain)

    hi viz vest, for me is common sense imho

    Don't see the problem with the stickerz But this thread has taught me a lot that will be handy when I go to meet relatives and mates in France and the rest of the continent.
