Hello from Derbyshire

Hello Everyone,

Many thanks for letting me join the forum.

I have had a couple 883’s was in the past, and am now looking to purchase a HD again.

Wanted a bike for weekend rides and a small bit of two up touring. Have looked at the Dyna range but found them a bit too heavy (I am only 5.6).

I found the 883 a bit underpowered for two up riding (very hilly round here), so am looking to get a 1200CB (blacked out 1200 custom), as I think this would suit us best.

Has anyone any experience of two up touring on the 1200.

Hi Steve, I have bought a Dyna and yes it is a heavy bike 300kgs........still yet to ride it, had new tyres fitted Friday just gone and new MOT this week so should have it back in my garage soon. It’s my first HD....
Never realised that there is such a big following of 883 and 1200......
