Whistler - I am changing my shocks soon; so I will have a pair of 11" OEM shocks (chrome - but you will want black, I guess) going spare.

Hell, doesn't he know the war has been over for a long time? He can get spares for his head now.

There - and you could have had them but for the cost of postage and a can of black paint!

But anyway - I don't recommend 11" shocks, I think you will regret it - the OEM ones on my Low simply don't have enough travel in them IMO and I'm lightweight now.

Have a look at hccustoms though - he has some 10.5" ones in black.

I'll check them out. It's the look I'm after ( fender hugging the wheel more). I've ridden hardtails in the past (much younger though), and am thinking if the ride is to harsh, I'll put on a sprung seat at some point , that with a set of whitewalls will give me the look I'm after. Not in a rush to get it all done its more a long term plan.

Hi Zac, do you ride solo? How did you find the guys a SOTON HD? I've heard good things about them.

Think after all the comments, i'm going to have to find a free weekend and take a selection out for a test ride. Once it warms up a bit of course.

I dealt with Stewart and Cory at Soton HD. Nice blokes, Easy to talk to and no pressure. Just pop in for a coffee and have a chat. I've only had my Iron since December so only been out for a couple of longish rides, I use it for work every day. I'm joining the New Forest Chapter soon as I have a couple of mates in it. Hope to see you sometime this year then
