    Ok Whistler,

Thanks for explaining what "The Cove" is, it'll be a similar thing to "Squires Cafe Bar" in North Yorkshire. Squires is the north of England's premier biker's cafe.

Nae bother. Think it was The Bikers Guide that polled the vote. Considering the Cove is considerably smaller than most, it polled much higher than any other cafe in the UK. Probably down to the fact there is a higher number of us regular attendees.

don't know what its like on the east coast whistler, but the roads on the west side are back to their 'farm track' status. it may be my inexperience, but the M77 looks very dodgy in parts for a bike

Been pretty good here in Norfolk, some floods on small roads to wash the wheels.

Was in Squires last year and they mixed up our breakfasts.

The rural roads were always bad when I lived up in Morayshire, they filled up with snow, I had to walk across the fields to get to school. At home when I opened the back door all I could see was a wall of snow, I had to dig through it to get out of the door.

We don't seem to get winters like that anymore, must be something to do with global warming.

    Speyside in winter.

I remember those types of winters. Now you don t know what weather your getting from one day to the next. Fife council seem to salt the roads whatever the weather.
