Torrential rain and cold up here. Took the car to the Cove this morning for breakfast and bike raffle. Had a laugh at all the edjits going into the Forth for the Loony Dook.

    Hello Flash,

I presume the Cove is a bay on the river Forth possibly North Queensferry. The "loony dook" is the name for the annual ritual every New Year's Day when hundreds of lunatics (mostly in fancy dress) take an early morning dip in the river Forth, see the images.

The Forth's water must be freezing at this time of the year, rather them than me.

The Cove is Bikers Cove. It's just been voted best bikers cafe in the UK. Great people, great food and great bikes. The loony dook was nuts yesterday. About a 1000 people in fancy dress going into the forth for charity. Good cause, but nuts.
    FTW )
