    She's arrived!

    After weeks of waiting she's arrived and first call had to be the Ponderosa on the Horseshoe Pass. Mid-Life-Crisis nearly complete, now the mods....

    Looks like you've already done your first mod by flipping the mirrors.

    Yes first mod completed but the view on the right hand mirror is still poor. Left side is spot on.

    Ok Welsh Whisky,

    Several people have complained about that after flipping the mirrors.

    The nuts are awkward to tighten with a spanner after being flipped. The XL1200X '48' uses torx bullet nuts on the mirrors, the H-D part number is 7357 and they're about £6 each. Just tighten them with a torx bit, it saves scuffing the paint on your master cylinder if the spanner slips. See the image.

    All. Could see with flipped mirrors was my knees. I changed the mirrors back, I much prefer the view of my elbows

    It would do as a cool wee pit bike for puttling round the village. Nowt wrong with being short.
