The 883 &1200 sporties weigh in at over 500lb, not really light bikes. Not usually much bikes for sale on here. Check the bike press such as BSH and 100% Biker, as well as local bike shops who've taken an HD either to sell on or trade. Would be more expensive but there will he good deals on at dealers at the moment.

    Which model is it?

£6800 is a good price for a '17 plate Sportster with only 200 miles under it's belt, won't even have had it's first service yet so it's essentially a new bike. The brand new price for an 883 Iron starts at £7995, and £8145 for an 883 Superlow.

For someone who is only 5' 3" I'd recommend the XL883L 'Superlow', 18" front wheel, low and narrow seat and reduced reach handlebars make the XL883L ideal for people from 5' 0" to 5' 5".

The XG750 'Street' is also nice and low, if you can live with it's looks that is. New prices for the XG750 start at £5995.

I've never been to Macclesfield myself, I like the Macc Lads cd's though.

I'm 5' 8" and the Iron is perfect for my height.

I did fit an XL883L seat, but it made my legs feel cramped, so I went back to the stock Iron seat, perfect fit again.

    Hi Cornish,

That's why I said, if you can live with it's looks. Not everyone likes the way the Street 750 looks, too Japanese looking.
