I recently wanted a 'Laxity Pro Harley-Davidson Helmet' from the USA. They are not available in Europe at all. Due to Corporate Law Harley-Davidson dealerships in the USA are not allowed to ship Harley-Davidson branded items overseas. I overcame this by registering with a shipping company in Ohio, ordered and paid for the item from the dealership and gave the shipping address as my delivery address, the shipping company not being bound by the same law then shipped to me.

My point is if you really want the part bad enough you can get it!

There is a good selection of 2:1 exhaust on this site. UK dealers are listed too under 'Dealer Search.'

    thanks guys.
yeah I'm fully aware of the import duties. i have new seat coming from the other side of the pond atm.
also for my jeep I've ordered dozen of parts last year over both air and sea so I know the drill.
this is why i was looking for local dealers before ordering from US
    thanks again

Good news, care to share the link for future interest?

I had to pay £90 shipping with DHL and a further £50 import duty on a $165 helmet. Doubled the basic cost but as mentioned not available over here. Ordered Thursday and even with the third party shipping arrived the following Tuesday.

i will be getting the helmet from US as well as i want Akoury beanie helmet. not available in EU as i dont believe they meet any of EU norms. but for a short trips to and from work will be good

    Hi Greggerly,

Mine is not quite a beanie but a half-helmet, comfortable as hell with no wind noise, glasses with a gasket seal are a must though. Also have a modular FXRG helmet for when the weather's too bad or for longer jaunts.

Helmet on first trip out on seat.

Soooo my parts are finally arriving. import duties were smaller than i expected.
for my exhaust it was 68 quid including handling fee, so 295 total. i think its a very good deal.
for seat - 43 quid with 243 total. shipping was a reap off ($100 when seat was $160) but overall I'm happy.
cant wait to see them on my old girl
