    Firstly welcome to the forum.

As an engineer and devoid of any instructions I would methodically start with removing the seat and sissy bar and then disconnecting the battery, remove the rear light, numberplate mounting bracket and then attack the fender struts and undo the two or three bolts (to include the indicators) by that time there should be very little left nailing it to the bike and it should become clear what remains holding it on? Mark and insulate any disconnected cables clearly and label the bolts you extract from the fender struts where they go, they are different lengths, finally take photographs during the process to refer to on reassembly.
