They would sort out you blacking out your front end. Seen them on a few customs recently, they look quite good.

I would prefer Harley but they don't do 49mm fork covers and gators etc.

Hideous! They look like a pair of flower vases or something you would see at a wake with a couple of candles on top! The Roland Sands ones for the Dyna look much more professional, uncomplicated and are less than half the price. Why cover the working portion? You can achieve exactly the same look with a pair of Bacofoil Tubes painted black or sellotape your next half a dozen empty shit roll centres together make a couple of cut-outs with a pair of scissors and stuff 'em on.

Your bike, your choice but you did ask for opinions.

Morning Dod, no offence meant but they do look a bit 'Mary Shelley Frankensteinish.' If you do fit them maybe consider a pair of prosthetic neck bolts (they are available) to pop on each time you head out on the bike they would compliment the covers quite nicely?

No probs, just an idea as I couldn't find a kit for 49mm...dark customs don't have a complete kit in stock but found through Harleycustom.uk a company called cult works are bringing out a 6 piece fork cover kit from 1st September for £140.71 which if I go down that route then I can change the bars, add led front mirror and change brake levers to black

Ironically enough Dod I've just had my first dealings with A R Harley & Sons this very weekend. I always prefer to talk to someone on the phone to discuss an order rather than just place an internet order. I had difficulties contacting them by phone so sent an e-mail. Within 5 minutes I was called back. Initial impressions is that they are very helpful indeed. I wanted clarity that the saddlebag I've just ordered does not impinge on the pillion peg on the Breakout (they cannot be fitted with pillion pegs on a 48). They stated if there were any issues just send it back and a full refund would be forthcoming. On reflection and after further research on the Breakout I think the bag will be ideal, the pillion peg is only a two minute removal unlike those on the 48 that had machined brackets that the pegs fitted on.

Nevertheless they seem a decent helpful company.
