    Not in Harleyland it isn't.

The Iron is the best selling Sportster, Harley dropped their glam'd up pretend chopper the XL1200V Seventy Two for the 2017 range.

And the recently announced "blacked out" Road King Special is now in H-D showrooms.

Out for 2017, the XL1200V Seventy Two.

In for 2017, the FLHRS Road King Special.

All the new 2017 sportster XL customs are in chrome. You can't get them with a black finish this year.

1200 customs look better in chrome. Comparing the new Road king has no comparison. They dropped the 72 because of stability issues I think, but I'm sure it has nothing to do with the chrome lol.

Depends what you're after. If I had an iron I would not want that much chrome.

That Road king is Special indeed, The front end looks like an MZ and Mr Fender has worked his magic on an awful look, It's a bit east/west 1970s style Think someone will be looking for a new job when they don't shift them! IMG_0243.jpg

Ah the MZ Trophy 250, a mate of mine had one of those in blue & cream. Ugly utilitarian looking, but it left my old Honda 250 Wetdream for dead. They were surprisingly quick.

Even the Ural motorcycles have a more modern look these days.

This one looks like Russia's answer to the Yamaha V-Max.
