    Harley Davidson Sissy Bar

Purchased this genuine sissy bar the other day so the kids and Mrs can ride on the back in comfort (one at a time of course!) It's quick release which is handy and I highly recommend it. Part numbers 52300040A SISSY BAR.
    52631-07 PAD
    5352 04 DOCKING KIT

If fitting 2014 onwards you need longer bolts or shave off the spacers a little.

    Here's some pictures

Looks nice, for me having the kids or the other half on the bike with me would spoil it...lol....I did some research at the time of buying my bike and found that the genuine Harley slanted saddlebag requires the removal of the pillion passenger pegs....I think I might have asked for that before the Vance and Hines lol

That's why the sissy bar is good. I don't have to alter my riding style and I can accelerate as fast as I want without loosing the pillion haha

Too much chrome to polish on that Sporty.

Chrome is so last century, as the Rolling Stones said "Paint it Black".

Having no footpegs is better......it means riding in peace without the other half....she can shout louder than the Vance and Hines ffs....riding a Harley is meant to be good therapy for me.....

They said that in the 60's. It's 2017 and chrome is back in!

Sissy bar certainly fits the style of your sportster, don't think a sissy bar suits the lines of an Iron.

Funny I think sissy bars were at their peak in the 60s . Everything goes in cycles, dark custom is still the in thing, but chrome will come back in a big way at some point and the dark custom look will be less so.

Yea I'd say the iron suits a selfish rider haha and I don't blame them. But I have an eager Mrs and the tank size on my sporty appealed to me more. Although the iron wins the best looking contest. I feel my sporty is a good all rounder that's caters for all my needs.

As long as your bike suits your needs and taste, that's all that matters. My missus hasn't gone on the bike for years and after a bad bike accident a few years ago, when I could have lost my foot, I'm not sure I want to take that responsibility for another any more.
