Rode just over 120miles today with two mates! Great day and the gel insert totally transformed my saddle!

Well done and thanks for the update on the gel insert, I'm definitely interested in one of those and will add it to my ever expanding 'to do list'.

    Suspension upgrade

Changed stock 2016 suspension (left side was leaking oil) to progressive 412 (used from ebay) and its a good upgrade although now the problem is I can feel the front needs an upgrade as well!

See Not Too Old's earlier post in this thread on how he fitted it. Very useful with pics. (post #2683)

Nearly dropped the scooter trying to put it up on a makeshift lift so I can install the sissy bar. I ended up sissying out and took it to my local guy to help me out with it. Whomever had this thing before me decided to replace the rear fender with a fiberglass unit. So it was even tighter in there than stock. And we had to redo some of the wiring as well. The alignment is fine, and there's no signs of damage or impact, so hopefully it was mostly a cosmetic or weight based decision. We had to remove the shocks to get in there. Older Dyna's are such a pain for sissy bars. Anywho, it's a 16" Bowman bar that is 5/8 inch thick I ordered direct from the folks in Houston, Texas. The bar fits perfectly flush with the outer strut cover. Love it.

What I forgot to take a pic of is my bud's 1996 Bad Boy springer. You can barely see it up front there. Most beautiful bike Harley ever made. Behind those two evo electra's is a shovelhead electra as well. Black with just the headlight on it. I'll ask him if I can post pics sometime.

This weekend I am planning on relocating the license plate on my Breakout.

    I bought this:
    http://www.accessdesign.fr/SIDE-LICE...-FXBR-BREAKOUT

it looks fairly well made... and the installation pretty straight forward.

The "trick" bit will be rewiring the LED licence plate lighting and fitting the new wire properly on/under the trailing arm....

I guess to remove the stock licence plate holder I will need to take the rear fender off and then make sure I don't screw up with the wiring....
